Company Name: Torishin Co., Ltd. Representative Director: Masanori Isoda Date Founded: April 1, 1895 Capital: 30 million yen Sales: Annual sales: approx. 4.6 billion yen Main BusinessActivities: Production, import, and sales of meat, processed meat products, and related food ingredients Number of Employees: 58 peoples Address: 39-3 Nakajuku, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo 173-0005 Phone: +81 3 3962 2371(Main contact number) Message from the CEO Thank you very much for visiting our website. We were founded 120 years ago in 1895 as a chicken meat and egg wholesaler in Itabashi, the northern gateway to Tokyo. We purchased live poultry from all over the Kanto region, including Gunma and Saitama, and began wholesaling chicken to wholesalers and restaurants in the city center. When I was a child, my grandmother often told me stories of when young chickens (broilers) were first introduced, and the sale of one chicken was enough to cover a day's worth of sales, so the family would close the store and go to the movies together. Now, as time has passed and real meat distribution has become possible due to large-scale local production and mechanization, we remain in this area, a major chicken producing region and the shortest route from Tohoku, and continue to do business here. As a chicken specialty store, we believe that delivering fresh chicken is the most important thing. It is suitable for any dish, whether boiled, grilled, or steamed, and you will never get tired of eating it every day. It is high in protein and low in calories, so it can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from children to the elderly. And above all, it's extremely cost-effective. Greetings from President Torishin We continue to believe in the potential of chicken and want everyone to enjoy delicious chicken! With this in mind, I would like to be involved in Japan's chicken industry. We also utilize the network we have cultivated around the world to search for truly delicious, rare ingredients from all over the world that will impress people and make them want to brag about having eaten them, and introduce them to the Japanese market. We want to continue to be a group of gourmet professionals who are always in the pursuit of fine cuisine and helping you realize the joy of eating. Thank you for your continued support. President and CEO (5th generation owner) Seiki Isoda
